How the biggest online comparison site for credit cards and other financial products
in Malaysia offered exciting added value incentives to their customers

  • RinggitPlus is Malaysia’s biggest online comparison site for credit cards, personal loans, home loans and saving products.
  • The site is founded and operated by the Southeast Asian fintech start-up Jirnexu, headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
  • In 2016, Jirnexu launched XpressApply, an online application and CRM technology as part of its business to provide financial institutions a channel to reach consumers digitally by handling banking product applications online.

 

Objective

Increase the number of emitted credit cards, issued by various financial institutions, through one specific channel: the price comparison website RinggitPlus.com.

 

Strategy

We created a Free Flight Campaign that supports the narrative of consumers getting more when using the services of RinggitPlus instead of going directly to a financial institution to purchase a financial product. Each consumer who successfully applies to a credit card through the comparison site receives a free return flight voucher to one of 25 destinations across Southeast Asia.
